You are limited in your color choices.   Once you buy a pre-lit tree, that's it; you're stuck with the same color lights every Christmas. Want to change themes on your tree, maybe try something new? Well, you won't be able to, because your lights are permanently installed on your tree. Not very convenient, huh?

If your lights break, you've lost your entire investment. That's right, when the lights on a pre-lit tree break, you aren't out a few dollars for a new set; you've just lost the entire cost of the tree. Unless, of course, displaying a tree with a bunch of useless lights on it is your idea of charming Christmas décor!

You won't be satisfied with the number of lights. If you're thinking of buying a pre-lit tree, we hope that you like to skimp on lights. That's because pre-lit trees are notoriously under-lit! In fact, you'll probably just wind up putting more lights on it, which defeats the whole point of buying that oh-so-convenient pre-lit tree in the first place!

The foliage and construction cannot compare with a Holiday tree. In fairness, no trees available anywhere in the world can either! A pre-lit tree will feature lots of bare, exposed metal wire and a nice, fake branching scheme that looks like no tree that ever grew anywhere. Here at Holiday we realize that metal doesn't grow on trees, so all our trees are specially wrapped for a natural look. In addition, our trees feature more branches per foot than any other artificial Christmas trees on the market, and are so realistically branched, they have been mistaken for live ones. Nobody has ever said that about any pre-lit tree!
